CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting Parcel Sorters on behalf of our client based in Warrington, WA1 area.

This role is physically demanding & can involve working unsociable hours depending on the demand. We’re looking for individuals that are flexible in their working approach as on occasion you may be asked to stay on after the proposed end time or start earlier.

We’re looking for someone that is comfortable with the below
- Moving and Sorting Mail
- Unloading of HGV Trailers into the warehouse and placing onto sorting belts
- Segregating different types of mail
- Operating sorting machines
- Sorting letters and packets manually
- Shift work.
- Safety awareness
- Sorting parcels into the correct loading areas from a belt using scanners & headsets
- Working in a team to safely load vans ready for despatch
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Following standard processes & operating procedures

Required Skills and Experience:

- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Good understanding of English language
- Good quality of spoken English
- Physically fit enough to complete and carry out a physically demanding role.
- Previous experience within a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Able to lift lightweight and heavy parcels, weighing up to 15-20kg each.

Hourly Rate & Details of pay:
Shift Monday to Friday: 00:00AM - 08:00AM (until finish)

Payrate: 12.76 £ / h 00am-06am (after 06am payrate will be 11.44£/h *day rate)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.44-£12.76 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Warrington, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 3 years (preferred)
- parcel sorter: 2 years (preferred)
