At Aligra, we are looking for a **Hospitality & Events Coordinator** to join our team based in **Newbury**. We're an award-winning agency of choice for the Hospitality & Events sector. **About the Role**:
This is a permanent role, working full-time hours (5 days out of 7).

As we recruit for some of the best events in the UK, flexibility is essential. Weekend work may be required for large scale events as well as early starts and late finishes.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Screening prospective job applicants to evaluate their skills and qualifications.
- Conducting compliance checks prior to employment in line with current legislation.
- Oversee and update our social media accounts regularly to create engagement.
- Managing and dealing efficiently with incoming calls.
- Attend and assist with onsite staff check ins at a variety of events.

**About You**:
This will be a very busy and fast paced role, on the telephone and face to face. You must be confident, highly organised, and able to work well under pressure. You’ll be driven, tenacious and ambitious, you will also be a team player with a strong customer focus and an exceptional telephone manner. Previous experience within a sales or hospitality role (or similar) would be an advantage but not essential. Please note that a full UK Driving Licence is required to fulfil the duties of this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
