**Electronics Maintenance Technician - Leicester**
**Opportunity**:
Are you currently working with electrical products? Does your experience include inspecting, cleaning, installing, servicing and maintaining electronic products? Want to work for a global medical device manufacturing company? Yes then please read on.
Your role as an Electronics Maintenance Technician based in Leicester will involve being hands on in inspecting, cleaning, installing, servicing and maintaining electronic products which are used in hospitals. The products will be used for the Account Managersto demonstrate how the equipment is used for the nurses and doctors.
You will also get involved in:
- Bending/squatting/kneeling/stretching.
- Loading and unloading beds, mattresses and equipment from vehicles.
- Lifting, pushing/pulling/carrying loads (10kgs).
- Using the stairs where the lift is unavailable.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Arranging delivery of clean and ready for use products to customers.
- Removing dirty or failing products from the customers.
- Cleaning, disinfecting and repairing used and failing products.
- Ordering and managing spare parts, single-use goods and management of samples etc.
- Ensuring cleanliness of workplace (service centre, workshop or depot).
- Completing activity reports and recording / updating all activities in relevant IT systems.
This is a full time permanent job opportunity based in Leicester paying a salary of £26,000 - £29,000 per annum with great benefits such as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays on top, pension, group life assurance and much more.
**Skills**:
- Electronics or mechanical related qualification is preferred.
- Drivers licence.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety rules and electrical engineering.
- IT literate.
