This as an exciting and new opportunity for a Macmillan DermatologySkin Cancer Assistant practitioner to join the Swansea Bay Dermatology team.
The Swansea Bay Dermatology team consists of Consultant Dermatologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and nursing team. We are a friendly and supportive team who work across both Neath Port Talbot and Singleton Sites.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) the post holder is expected to organise their own workload in conjunction with the Skin Cancer Nurse (band 6) undertaking tasks delegated by the registered practitioner with appropriate supervision in place.
Having an understanding of evidence based practice and delivering care in line with current evidence, the post holder will take responsibility for taking action relative to patients and carers of patients with skin cancer in accordance with organisational policy and procedures.
The post holder will be responsible for some elements of assessment, implementing programmes of care and modifying individualised care plans, reporting back to the registered practitioner. The postholder will plan and organise straightforward activities and may supervise, teach and assess other staff.
