**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Goods In Operative to join our stores team.This team is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the customer and the company’s owned inventory - ensuring that stock accuracy and integrity is always at its highest.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods into our facilities by being responsible for; unloading and loading vehicles daily, using a counterbalance Fork-Lift Truck, as well as the delivery of items around the site based on build requirements. You will check all deliveries, process and book items to the internal ERP system accurately.
- You will liaise with all departments on site, and on occasion speak with external suppliers, freight handlers and build good working relationships, both internally and externally.
- The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Loading and unloading of vehicles including items of irregular size weight and dimension.
- The accurate checking, counting and processing of items delivered by external third-party carriers.
- The day-to-day management of the customer owned inventory on site, including the processing and counting in-line with year-end audit requirements.
- Processing all items using the company ERP system, always ensuring accuracy.
- Liaising with external suppliers when necessary to resolve issues with deliveries
- Liaising internally with different departments to ensure that items are being delivered to the correct area of the business.
- Supporting the stores department with picking and counting duties when required.
- Any other such duties that may be reasonably compatible with the nature and scope of the role

**Physical Demands & Work Environment**:

- Working internally in the warehouse at desk
- Working internally and externally unloading vehicles
- Handling and moving boxes inline with Manual Handling Guidelines
- Transportation of goods around the MSI site - Either on foot or by forklift
- Working with accuracy and to strict timelines
