Freelance Video Animator

**The Company**

We are looking for creative and enthusiastic Freelance Videographer to join our growing marketing team. As a Video Editor you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing video. Based in Harrogate, we are a market research company, using our specialist insight and online tools to help our clients manage their customer satisfaction.

**The Role**
- This is a key position helping to drive leads into the business and to ‘put our name out there’ using creative and informative video content. Both live “to camera” recordings and animations
- The role will support our growing marketing team to develop video content for our ecommerce website and social media platforms
- Create/review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film, Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
- Working within a medium sized growing business it is important to be a real team player, which can involve helping other departments, whether that be hands on activities or gaining more information helping other departments perform more effectively

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
- Regularly collaborate with the marketing team
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Actively promoting the business on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) using through creative and engaging video content
- Organising and managing organic and paid activity

Produce video content to match the needs of the marketing team / commercial teams.

Create a video strategy to compliment the commercial and marketing objectives of the business.

Through the use of video ensure that JudgeService is pre-eminent in B2B markets we serve.
Increase consumer awareness

**Required Experience, Education, and Training**
- 1 years of experience as video specialist and Editor of a similar role
- High level of experience of using video and editing equipment
- Proficient in Final Cut, Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
- Demonstrable video editing ability
- Excellent computer literacy
- Animation design skills
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or on a team.

Preferred but not essential skills
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred
- Degree or equivalent in Video, Communications, Marketing, or related field - preferred, not essential

**Location and Travel Requirements**

The position is office based in Harrogate.
