Graphic Designer

We are looking for an experienced **Graphic Designer** to join our established Marketing Department in Harrogate. As part of a well-recognised brand with clear guidelines in place, you’ll ensure consistency across all outputs while still having the freedom to bring your own creative flair to projects.

You’ll work across a wide range of media including graphics, digital photography, 2D/3D modelling, animation, and video to create engaging branded designs for literature, social media, websites, and event materials. From concept to completion, you’ll be the creative drive that brings ideas to life.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a sharp eye for detail, strong typographic and layout skills (including hierarchy, spacing, alignment, and font weights), and the ability to balance creativity with precision. An innovative approach, paired with excellent communication and collaboration skills, will help you thrive in our supportive and well-established Global team.

Indeed, our business strapline is: ‘Polymeric Solutions for a Sustainable Future’. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for communicating this message across our broad range of marketing platforms.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating marketing materials through various types of media. This includes:

- Develop and refine visual concepts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
- Create branded digital and printed assets to promote Belzona solutions
- Use your creative ability to engage followers on social media by promoting Belzona solutions and Company initiatives.

**Essential Skills**:

- A degree in a graphic design or similar is preferable but evidence of experience gained in a corporate Graphic Design or Multi-Media Design position would be accepted.
- Can showcase your creative prowess through a diverse portfolio.
- Are passionate about creating exceptional design, typography, and branding.
- An expert in Adobe Creative Cloud with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
- Are a team player, self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Experience creating both print assets such as packaging and labelling and digital media.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in dealing with professional printing services
- Photography experience
- Video experience such as working with Premier Pro/After Effects
- HTML / CSS
- Be a strong communicator
- Have excellent time management
- Creative minded personality, ability to think “out of the box”
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Be a team player
- Have an eye for detail
