**Job Overview**

As an Office Worker in our têxtile recycling company, you will be a key member of our operations team, responsible for coordinating and facilitating the efficient collection of stock by our drivers. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from suppliers to our facility. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing driver reports to track and manage collection activities.

**Role**:
**Stock Coordination**:
Receive incoming orders and requests for stock collection from various suppliers.

Organize and prioritize stock collection based on factors such as location and urgency.

Communicate with suppliers to confirm collection details, address any inquiries, and provide necessary information.

**Telephone Responsibilities**:
Professionally and courteously answer all incoming calls from suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Provide information about stock collection procedures, schedules, and requirements.

Address inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly, ensuring excellent customer service.

Escalate any complaints to manager.

**Driver Assignment**:
Assign collection routes and schedules to three drivers, optimizing efficiency and timely pickups.

Provide drivers with accurate information and necessary documentation for each collection.

**Work Preparation**:
Ensure all necessary paperwork and labels are ready for the drivers.

**Driver Reports**:
Collect and compile data from drivers, including collection quantities, times, and any relevant notes.

Create accurate and comprehensive driver reports for each collection, documenting relevant details.

**Communication**:
Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Notify drivers of any changes to collection schedules or requirements.

**Record Keeping**:
Maintain organized records of collection activities, including driver reports and supplier information.

Assist in updating and managing the database with accurate collection data.

**Problem Solving**:
Address any issues or challenges that may arise during collection, such as missed pickups or discrepancies.

Collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve problems promptly.

**Administrative Support**:
Provide general administrative support to the operations team, such as data entry and filing.

**Additional Responsibilities**:
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Adapt to changes in the work environment and undertake additional tasks that may arise to support the team's objectives.

Collaborate with other team members and contribute to projects outside the scope of this job description.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 37.5 per week
