**Recruitment & Office Administrator** BIC plc is a Newcastle based family owned cleaning company established in 1988 with an ever expanding network of local, regional and national customers. This exciting new role will be based in our North Shields office. The hours will be approx. 20 per week, which are flexible between the hours of 9am to 5pm so for example could be 4 hrs per day Mon to Fri, or 5 hours per day Tue to Fri etc. **Recruitment & HR Responsibilities** - Posting job adverts and monitoring responses - Obtaining and verifying certificates and onboarding compliance - Arranging interviews - Ensure new joiners receive all the relevant starter paperwork. - Working closely with Payroll to ensure everything is processed accurately. - Checking training records for the workforce and highlighting to management where delivery is needed. - Completing HR paperwork - Contract of employment, change to terms, leavers, and other ad hoc admin tasks. - Sending Updates to Staff **Office Admin Responsibilities** - Updating spreadsheets & checking documents for ISO compliance - Answering telephones and assisting with general queries - Assisting other departments in the business if needed **Experience** - Excellent written and verbal English - Punctual and diligent - Confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills - "Can do" attitude - An understanding of GDPR, right to work compliance - Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 **Opportunities & Job Enhancement** - The payroll and accounts team use Sage software, so if you are familiar with either of these, this would be advantageous for assisting during periods of staff holidays and if you’re not familiar, there is the opportunity to learn a new skill. **Benefits** - Competitive salary - The salary and weekly hours are negotiable depending on experience - Flexible working hours - Company Pension **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Expected hours: 20 per week **Benefits**: - Company pension - Free parking - On-site parking Schedule: - Day shift - Flexitime - Monday to Friday - No weekends **Education**: - GCSE or equivalent (preferred) **Experience**: - Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred) **Language**: - English (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Reference ID: Recruitment
