**About the role**

An exciting opportunity is open to current Technical Services staff, as we are now looking to recruit for the operational side of our Information Security Team with a Information Security Officer. This exciting role offers hybrid working arrangements and as an Information Security Officer, you will be key in the development of core business-as-usual activities to maintain and improve our security posture.

**What you can bring**

We are seeking individuals who are able to work alongside wider Technical Service teams, faculties, business support departments and our external partners on a daily basis. You should have a have keen interest within the Cyber \ Information Security landscape, with strong technical, problem solving, analytical and documentation skills.

**Over the time of the apprenticeship, you will gain experience of a proactive, business focused and fast-paced environment.**
