Our Wilmington Events EMEA team deliver successful events for a variety of leading brands within our portfolio of businesses including Health Service Journal (HSJ), International Compliance Association (ICA), AXCO and MiExact. **As our Head of Delegate Sales, you will be responsible for**: - Delivering the budgeted attendee revenue and sales targets - Leading a delegate sales team, working closely with them to deliver their best performance through ongoing coaching, roll play and sales leadership. - Creating a sales strategy that supports Wilmington Events’ 3yr plan - Developing individual event sales plans that exceed budgeted revenues by securing the right volume of attendees on all products which include Awards, Conferences and Summits - Managing, coaching, training and motivate your delegate sales team and create a great sales culture - Determine and measuring relevant KPIs to provide visibility, that help you succeed - Embedding and evolving good sales process to ensure your team are effective and efficient - Evolving the sales function by identifying and implementing initiatives that improve effectiveness and efficiency - Motivating and inspiring your team by providing great support and recognition - Working collaboratively across the Events team, and the Wilmington Business, to ensure the division meets its revenue, contribution, brand, and people goals. **In order to be successful within this role you should have**: - Ideally 5 years Delegates Sales Management experience - Strong track record of being able to sell through telesales and a deep understanding of telephone sales processed - A proven methodology of telephone sales recruitment, training, and development - Experience of leading and motivating sales teams effectively - Ability and desire to understand and analyse contact data - Considerable achievements against stretching sales target - Strives for continuous improvement: Reviews and improves processes ongoing - Excellent communication, organisation and time management skill - Flexible and happy to develop knowledge of new markets working across multiple project - Passion for sales process and discipline, with a keen focus on creating a supportive, collaborative and enjoyable culture. - Resilient problem solver who thrives in a vibrant, fast-moving environment **In addition to this you should also have**: - Excellent knowledge and Salesforce CRM skills - Good knowledge of call measurement technology, such as Natterbox - Good knowledge of LinkedIn Navigator - Good knowledge of Marketo - Excellent Excel, word, and PowerPoint skills - Strong strategic and tactical sales skills **If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on "APPLY" today
