**Senior OEM Project Engineer - Automotive** An experienced **Senior Automotive Project Engineer** is required to join the UK team of a Global **OEM andaftermarket automotive components manufacturer**. This role will form part of the OEM team in the UK and provide effective **project, engineering and technical support** to OE customers, acting as the **UK lead**.

The Role
- Provide effective project, engineering and technical support to OE customers.
- Act as the UK lead OE Engineer for technical related tasks, the development of technology and product localisation activities.
- Take functional responsibility for UK OE Engineering team, coordinating, facilitating and supporting change management and tracking deliverables.
- Support the department by providing a deeper engineering and technical knowledge and become a product expert.
- Aid and facilitate product localisation activities and change management processes.
- Track and communicate project milestones and reinforce tools to centralise part and product data.
- Coordinate product suitability testing.
- A recognised **Automotive Engineering**qualification, preferably a degree, or a proven, successful background in an **Automotive OEM environment**.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- First class **project management** and **time management** abilities.
- The ability to **build strong relationships** with OEM and OES customers.
- Advantageous, is a knowledge of internal combustion engines and exhaust after treatment.
- A strong understanding of **OEM vehicle development** processes including **PPAP** and **PSW.**:

- Experience of automotive **R&D** and **manufacturing principles**.
