An engineering business within the oil and gas industry, providing design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance services for cross country projects, is now seeking a Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer / Project Engineer to join their growing business.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage and deliver engineering project work ranging from office-based desktop studies and proposals to full design, procurement, coordination, and site delivery. You will also manage small project teams and oftendeliver on more than one project at a time. You will manage your projects to an agreed programme and budget. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Whilst your main working environment will be office based, you will attend site for meetings, surveys, construction and commissioning purposes, responsible for projects valued at £5K to £1M+.

As Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer / Project Engineer your main responsibilities are:

- Provide project control from initial project approval through to commissioning and handover with blue-chip clients
- Manage scope changes, project hours and cost targets to ensure profitability on each project
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with good industry practice and standards
- Manage supply and service provider contracts and authorise invoices for payment
- Prepare estimates and technical input for proposals to prospective clients

You will be an experienced Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer from energy or oil & gas industries, used to managing multiple projects with strong commercial skills.
