**Job Description Summary**: The Controls Technology Intern will work with the Controls Technology Platform Department within the HVDC unit of GE Vernova to ensure that the business can deliver and change to meet the demands of the grid and renewable energy market. Role overview

**Responsibilities**:
Controls design, development, and simulation, working with any control and protection system; in particular, power electronics systems and grid technology.
Analysis, design, simulation, test, and integration to define and support assigned components, modules or systems that meet business standards for New Product Introduction (NPI) or New Technology Introduction (NTI)
Produce technical documentation such as requirements, design, and test specifications
Prepare and present, technical information for Substation Control Systems to internal and external customers.
Assist with laboratory activities for the installation and testing of the control system.
