**Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education for all children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
- Manage daily operations of the nursery room, including scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and childcare policies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A background in nursery management or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting children or resources as needed.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development through engaging activities.
