This is a young vibrant business ready to expand its presence having recieved external funding.

To support the expansion plans they are looking for an ambitious Financial Reporting Manager

This is a critical high-profile role, reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for financial reporting for the company and business partner to a number of cost centres. You will be able to deputise for the FC from time to time. As thecompany and the finance team grows you will take on direct management of others.

**Responsibilities**:
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Own Month End preparation of _Consolidated_, _Company and divisional_ Management Accounts to include P&L, BS and Cash flow statements
- Create and maintain supporting working papers to clearly analyse and reconcile all nominal accounts
- Improve upon and maintain Google Sheet Reporting packs for Consolidated, Company and Divisional management accounts
- Own the preparation of Statutory Accounts and Audit thereof
- Primary contact with Auditors (UK) and Accountants (US)
- Produce month end variance analysis and commentary on assigned cost centres for review with cost centre owners
- **Investor Reporting - Pr eparation of**:

- Monthly Board Pack
- Investor Reporting
- **Taxes -Preparation of and submission of**:

- Corporation Tax
- R&D Tax Credit Claims
- PAYE and NIC
- VAT
- **Governance**:

- Implement and champion policy and procedures over Customer set up, Procurement, Contracts, Travel, Subsistence and Entertainment spend and spend desk cards
- Implement and maintain Delegation of Authority Matrix for approval of expenditure and contracts
- **Budgeting and forecasting**:

- Implement and maintain cash flow and balance sheet forecast on a rolling 12 month basis
- Manage rolling forecast process across the team
- Prepare budgets and rolling forecasts for assigned cost centres and provide in-depth financial analysis to senior management of cost centres
- Act as the cost centres Finance Director - guiding them through all financial matters

**Projects**:

- Automation of Financial Reporting - researching, assessing and presenting options to the CFO and then leading the implementation.
