Full Job Description
Manchester Breakdown are recruiting for a Rescue & Recovery Controller to work in a busy 24hr Vehicle Breakdown Recovery Business based in Manchester

Shifts: 4 ON 4 OFF days

Job involves:

- Working on the telephone and computer receiving calls from customers including Motoring Organisations, the Police and the general public.
- Liaising with drivers and customers
- Dispatching correct resources to attend rescue and recovery incidents through out North West

THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO POLICE VETTING

Skills and Experience:

- Experience of APEX-systems an advantage, although full training will be provided.
- Good geographical knowledge and some automotive knowledge desired.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and take charge of the situation.
- Must be quick thinking and able to adapt in fast changing situations.
- Manage jobs from initial contact to completion ensuring all parties are kept informed.
- Superb telephone, administrative, organisational and IT skills
- Calm and professional approach with good customer service skills

Experience
- Working in an office: 1 year (preferred)
- Call handling
