This role represents an opportunity to develop your career within TR Fastenings Ltd. We are looking to recruit an Inventory Controller for our Branded Products team at Bellbrook Park.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, your role will be to ensure that stock is purchased in a cost-effective approach from approved sources, ensuring all sales requirements are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

Key tasks include:

- To develop product ranges in line with Company policy
- To profile product ranges in line with current stock level requirements and availability targets
- To progress orders when necessary to ensure stock availability
- To support the Group on stock and product information
- To develop preferred suppliers to ensure demands are met and stock-outs are minimised
- To ensure only acceptable suppliers and sub-contractors are used for quotations and stock purchases
- To respond to request for quotations (RFQs) in a timely and organised manner
- To proactively work with the Sales teams to maintain a nil overdue situation
- To participate in projects as required
- To assist in the purchasing of other proprietary products as requested by the Inventory Manager

Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 15:45 on Fridays.

It is advantageous that you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft products in particular Excel, although this is not essential as training will be provided. German speaking would be an advantage; however, it is not essential. You must have a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
