**Infrastructure Business Analyst (DC Migration Project). Contract Role.**

**The Role**:
We are currently recruiting for an online trading platform provider. They’re looking for a Business Analyst who has an extensive background in dealing with IT infrastructure-based projects. IT Infrastructure Business Analyst is a multi-disciplinary role andessential to the successful migration out of the existing Data Centre. This project should last around two and a half years.
- This client offers a hybrid working environment, with employees travelling into their City of London office 2/3 times a week. _
- This role is offering a base salary of up to £80,000 (with a bonus structure which can bring the total package to just under £100,000) or a day-rate contract of £550/day inside IR35. _

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with DC Exit team to identify impacts and articulate them to the business/users.
- Identify non-standard use cases and work through impact with the project team.
- Interpreting, extracting, and analysing information from various types of documentation/systems and manipulating data into user friendly formats using Excel or other tools.
- Requirements gathering.
- Produce and maintain data dashboards to aid the migration readiness planning and ongoing tracking.
- Support and challenge the programme team to ensure the best outcomes for the programme and the business.
- Adhere to relevant escalation processes to manage transition risks and issues.
- Build good working relations with all areas of Service Delivery and the business-as-usual IT operations team.

**Required Experience**:

- Experience of datacentre migration projects and general IT infrastructure projects.
- 6+ years’ experience in a Business Analysis role.
- Financial services experience. _Exposure to trading services and regulations very desirable._
- Delivering business value in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience Proven and demonstrable aptitude for obtaining and exploiting new skills and knowledge.
- Experience in working in a complex and busy organisation.
