Tradewind are currently seeking a passionate and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH School based in South Liverpool. This is a full-time role, where you will be working with pupils who require extra support in managing their emotions and behaviour in a safe and supportive environment.
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant with Tradewind, you'll be working alongside a dedicated team of professionals to provide an individualized and holistic approach to support each pupil's needs. You will need to have experience working with children with SEMH needs, a nurturing and patient approach, and the ability to de-escalate challenging behaviour.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
- have satisfactory references
- have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
