**C++ Engineer**

**Role**: Create and maintain the software suit using C++

**Location**: remote in England + occasional visits to Reading area office (approx. quarterly)

**Salary**: £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits

As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will utilise your knowledge of the SDLC, C++, and programming techniques to create and maintain the software suite. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to the development culture with Code reviews, standardsand mentoring of other software developers. This is a brilliant opportunity to collaborate with QA's, BA's, the Product team, and other Developers to create market leading software.

**C++ **Engineer** - Responsibilities**:

- Produce new software for the company’s products and services
- Assist the design, and maintenance of new and existing products
- Contribute via the team with the delivery of high-level system designs
- Collaborate across multiple technical teams
- Perform code reviews for other team members
- Contribute to an agile team via refinement meetings, stand-ups and sprint reviews

**C++ **Engineer** **-** Requirements**:

- 5+ years commercial experience of coding in C++
- Working knowledge of Qt, multiplatform, highly desirable
- Knowledge of XML / JSON / RESTfulAPI's
- Experience working on Linux and Windows based systems and SQL Based database platforms
- Experience of code versioning tools (GIT / SVN)
- Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
