Role: Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

North of Horsham area

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm. Tuesdays 9:00am to 5:30 pm for further training and meetings.

**Your responsibilities will include**
- Provide teaching and support to pupils with autism, following individualised curriculums
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and activities, focusing largely on life skills
- Provide behaviourally based support to reduce behaviours that impact quality of life
- Provide personal care support, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene
- Monitoring and evaluating pupil progress and wellbeing
- Assist with breaktime duties including playground support
- Supporting off-site activities- **Must** Hold a valid UK Driving license due to remote location
- have personal or professional experience with children and disabilities
- Have relevant GCSE qualifications in Math and English, Grade C and above
- Able to remain calm and resilient in high pressure environments
