Kitchen Assistant

**Job Title**: Kitchen Porter

**Location**: Ewhurst - own transport needed due to rural location

**Salary**:£17,500-18,500pa

**Hours**:11am - 7pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 1:30pm on Friday

**The Role**:
Supporting the Kitchen Manager, you will be required to undertake various duties within a busy kitchen so ensure everything runs smoothly. You do not need to have experience, just be willing, able and enthusiastic
- Assist in food preparation & service
- Make up sandwiches and packed lunches
- Receive deliveries of dry, chilled, and frozen goods and store correctly
- Wash cooking pots, pans, and utensils
- Clean ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure high standards of hygiene in kitchen

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Experience being a kitchen porter in desirable but not necessary
- Ability to learn and adapt when needed
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Has awareness of food allergies and hygiene standards
