Delivery Porter

**A clean driving licence and forklift licence are essential requirements for this position.**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery and assembly of furniture into customers homes, adhering to our high standards.
- Taking in deliveries of goods: Receive and inspect incoming shipments from suppliers, checking for accuracy and verifying against purchase orders.
- Preparing deliveries to customers: Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed and, where required, assembled.
- Load delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secured properly for transportation.
- Assisting with stock control: Help maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts, reporting discrepancies and assisting in stock replenishment.
- Warehouse and showroom maintenance: Keeping the warehouse and showroom areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow proper storage procedures for furniture and other items.
- Showroom display setup: Assist in setting up displays in the showroom, ensuring they are visually appealing and accurately represent the products.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Clean driving licence is essential.
- Forklift licence is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexible with working hours, including occasional overtime.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
