We have just had a great meeting with one of our great clients who have instructed us to help them find a Womenswear Designer to work on their Woven’s department
Working in a small team this designer will cover women's woven casualwear for a number of fashion retailers. They need a womenswear designer who has a track record of working closely with buyers, mainly here in the UK but also some European, able to work with other designers, Sales, and merchandising. They will be responsible to provide the latest trends and stories for the customers and using this information to design the woven range for the showroom each season.
MUST-HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
Have at least 3 years of commercial experience designing woven womenswear for UK high street retailers
Having young handwriting
Ideally worked with Indian factories
Able to use CAD / ILLUSTRATOR
Be able to communicate well not only with the team around you but also buyers when needed
Be looking to develop a career within a large supplier to fast young fashion and have an understanding of the pressure of deadlines.
