We are currently looking for a full time Adminstrative Assistant for our office based in Braintree.
Although full training wil be provided this position would ideally suit someone who has experience working in any one of the following indutries:
- Solicitors office
- Accountants
- Bank
- Estate Agents
- Willwriting/Probate
- Genealogy
There are no formal qualifications required, but you must have a superb telephone manner, be able to converse well in English, be able to use Word and Excel (no programming required) and demonstrate a strong aptitude for English Grammar (written and spoken). Anyone who can demonstrate a good knowleddge of the UK Intestacy Rules will be given preference and an immediate interview.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
- General administration duties to include; Drafting and amending letters, contracts and family tree reports, invoicing using Quickbooks, obtaining certificates, filing and case management.
- Processing orders on our bespoke Will finding software, maintaining caseload spreadsheets, and keeping to deadlines.
- To make contact with clients to obtain further information of their matter, specifically regarding probate leads and heir tracing, whilst having a good understanding of the intestacy rules.
