**Project Control Authority**:
**Location: Newbury (*Blended home working)**

**Salary: Competitive**

**Hours: 37.5**This role supports the Project Control Manager to ensure all governance, reporting and financial management is managed effectively and consistently within NDC. The role requires the holder to make sure we identify and deliver on our OPEX savings, whilst also making sure our capitalisation across the teams are in line with the company objectives. You will be required to secure all business cases and make sure we deliver upon them as per the business cases presented and approved.

**What will you be doing?**
- Accountability for functional planning; including resources, programme delivery, budgets and risk.
- Production of concise, impactful reporting.
- Ensure all areas work in a common structure and implement ways of working aligned to the PMO Hub.
- Accountable for financial planning, including cost centre management and F2A & Gamma savings plan.
- Drive and ensure all activities deliver value for money and that unit cost targets are achieved.
- Monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the rollout progresses.
- Lead on business case creation by working with NDC teams, Finance, Strategy and SCM.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Demonstrated ability to successfully control and manage a programme budget
- Analytical thinking that enables quick identification of trends, risks and areas of improvement
- Strong presentation and communication skills to translate data into useful information for decision making
- Strong capability to define, implement and maintain reporting standards across a range of stakeholders
- Programme management of large-scale roll outs
- Excellent Excel and SAP skills
