- To help ensure that the obligations and polices in respect of the Mortuary are fulfilled and monitored.
- To assist the Mortuary Manager to deliver an effective, efficient, and high-quality service in accordance with the service specification
- Maintain an awareness of all legislation, professional development and initiatives nationally and locally in respect of the mortuary functions, in particular the Mass Fatalities Plan.
- To undertake casework of a high profile or complicated nature under the direction of the Mortuary Manager
