Inwood a 55-bed residential home is looking for a dedicated and experienced, empathetic, and friendly **Senior Care Assistant **to join their team.

- Full-time contracts are available. The shift pattern is a **mixture of Days, Nights and alternative weekends** in a 12-hour shifts with a combination of 7-7 and 8-8.

**DAYS**: £11.20 per hour, after probation £11.50 per hour and if you hold a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care £11,75 per hour.

**NIGHTS**:£11,30 per hour, after probation £12,10 per hour. if you hold an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care £12,25 per hour.

**Experience/Qualifications required**:

- Knowledge of a care setting and the needs of older people.
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience as a Senior.
- Experience in working in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience in delivering hands-on care.
- Care level 3 diploma or team leading qualification.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Shift management.
- Ensure medication is kept and the provision is completed in line with medical advice and legislation.
- Care planning including reviews.
- Delivery of rotas and ensuring adequate shift cover.
- Compliance with company policies, CQC standards, and other legislation directly affecting the home and its residents.
- Performance of the care team.
- Identify and report any incidences of poor practice or abuse in line with the safeguarding policy.
- Escalate concerns/issues to Deputy Manager as appropriate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.20-£12.25 per hour
