**We are looking for a friendly outgoing person to join the Gorgeous Team**

We are a busy shop with quality gifts, cards and balloons. We have a very high standard of customer service and pride ourselves on our reputation. Always being on the go, you will need to be physically active as lots of bending and lifting is needed. **Non smoker** required due to selling scented gifts.

Do you love helping customers, creating eye catching displays, working with lovely products and giving exceptional customer service. Creating balloon displays will be a big part of this role. Full training given.

**Duties**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and answer customer enquiries
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately(Manual till nothing flashy with barcodes)
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products creatively
- Assist with stock taking and restocking
- Working with other team member to be quick and efficient
- Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities
- Strong selling skills to effectively promote products to customers
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Organisational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and manage inventory
- Good phone etiquette for answering customer calls and enquiries and take orders over the phone and take payment
- Proficient in English
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Creative to create eye catching displays of stock
- Balloon (balloon training will be given
- Quick thinking and able to multi task under pressure. Thrive under pressure
- Answering social media messages and posting content

Join our dynamic team as a Retail Sales Assistant In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with customers, promote our products, and contribute to the overall success of our shop. Creating great rapports with customers. We value individuals who are customer-oriented, have a passion for sales, and possess excellent communication skills.

As a Retail Sales Assistant you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding the right products,(personal shopping in some cases) processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organised sales floor. Your ability to effectively communicate with customers, upsell products, and demonstrate strong organisational skills will be key to your success in this role.

Must be confident to approach customers to ask if they need assistance and pro active in doing this.

**This is a key holder position so you will be required to open and close the shop on time. Staying slightly later on occaisions when there is a late customer. Some lone working is required.**

Hours as follows.

**Monday 9.30am-6pm**

**Wednesday 9.30am-6pm**

**Friday 9.30am-6pm**

**Every other Saturday 9.00am -5.30pm**

**Holiday and sickness cover and extra during peak periods**

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
