Chappell Enterprises are recruiting for a part time **Rough Sleeper Navigator**for our client based in Southend-on-sea. Our client has been providing services aiming to end homelessness in Southend-on-sea for twenty years. This year they are aiming to expand their cold weather provision to include more emergency beds for rough sleepers. - "We understand the causes of homelessness to be more than simply the absence of secure housing and our volunteers play a key part in enabling us to offer an enhanced service to those accessing our accommodation that is both psychologically informed andrecovery focused"._ **The role**: Navigators provide intensive 'End to End' support for people who are rough sleeping with complex needs, advocating and enabling them to access appropriate services, including housing, by working in partnership with existing delivery structures, and localnetworks. To work as outreach to help people who experience complex needs (housing, substance misuse, offending behaviour, mental health and physical health) to access the services and the interventions that they need. To build their resilience, gain confidence, andacquire the personal and social assets they need to meet their aspirations. To offer interventions with people who use our services in a one-to-one or group setting to help them to address their problematic alcohol/drug use. To provide support in the community for individuals with the aim of helping them to make the positive lifestyle changes that will aid their recovery. **Requirements**: - Experience of motivating a complex and diverse client groups. - Experience of assessing client needs. - Knowledge of the services and legislative environment regarding housing, health and homelessness. - A person-centred recovery focused approach - Ability to effectively manage conflict, - Ability to networt build relationships and work effectively with a range of local partners agencies. - Willingness and ability to work shifts including evenings and weekends. **Desirable**: - Language skills. - Full UK Driving Licence. - An understanding of and commitment to diversity & equality. - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (Adults) - Housing IAG (Information Advice and Guidance) or any other related qualification. **Salary**: £24,100 - £26,400 per annum **Benefits**: - Pension - Parking Project coordinator, Community coordinator, support worker IND-PP123
