In the Asset Management Surveyor, you will be:

- Providing a property surveying service including day to day maintenance management, void management, Physical Adaptation Grant work (PAG), facilities management, service charges, major works and complex repair projects
- Managing the programme of works in accordance with the agreed budget and report progress
- Undertaking and updating stock condition/WHQS surveys and create work programmes as determined by the Association
- Ensuring properties are maintained within your patch and conducting post inspections of maintenance works
- Managing the day to day maintenance of the Association’s housing stock and analysing existing stock condition information and conducting surveys to establish budget costs for the proposed works
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the financial monitoring sheets
- Attending regular site monitoring meetings and feeding back on performance and quality of the works on site
- Ensuring compliance with Planning and Building Regulations

To be considered for the role job must have:

- Previous Surveyor experience
- Degree qualification in Construction, or HNC/HTEC Certificate in Building Studies (e.g. Construction) / Building Surveying or C & G Certificate in Building Studies
- Effective planning and organising skills
- Demonstrable competent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good numeracy skills and
- Ability to work quickly and to deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving Licence and car available for work (with business insurance)
- Able to hold a basic conversation in Welsh (level 3)

This is a temporary position for initially 4 months workingfull time,35 hours per week Monday to Friday on an hourly rate of £17.62 p/h plus holiday pay and mileage expenses.
