- Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are currently hiring for a Database Officer to join our database team. The position plays a crucial role in supporting all end users across the charity, to ensure the functionality and benefits of the system are optimised. We manage all our data in house using Boomi and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved with coding and develop your skill set.

**Salary**
- The salary for this position is £39,069 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
- This is a varied role where you’ll get involved with:

- Ensure timely payment of specific funds, such as Gift Aid and Direct Debits, through submission of appropriate reports and claims at designated times.
- Lead on all supporter related financial and non-financial data being imported into Salesforce in a timely and consistent manner, including resolution of all errors and rejects.
- Provide training for the Salesforce users and maintain up to date user guidelines empowering colleagues to use Salesforce more efficiently and productively.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience managing and importing bulk data, and the resolution of related issues.
- Experience with Gift Aid and Direct Debit processing.
- Experience with data support, including reporting, running, selections and building queries within CRM systems/databases.
- Understanding and knowledge of JSON, XML, Flat Files.
- Experience providing training sessions to database end users.
- We use JavaScript and Groovy, so any experience with this is highly beneficial. Equally, if you want to learn these skills, then we will support your learning.

**About the Team**
- The Database Team are an integral element of the wider Supporter Data and Relations Team, providing practical and technical support to the Fundraising department. Promoting consistency and accurate use of data, they play a key role in the implementation of the Data Strategy.
