SRFT has collaborated within the region to form the Greater Manchester Trauma Network. As part of this major restructure, in regional of trauma provision the department has greatly expanded its trauma capacity requiring more input for the regional specialist services.
You will work as part of a team and support the Consultants within the Emergency Department along with the wider nursing and therapy teams within the Emergency Village across. The main focus of the post is to support the delivery of expert management for neuro-musculoskeletal conditions within the Emergency Department. You may have the opportunity to be involved in virtual trauma / fracture clinics for orthopaedic patients.
You will be expected to contribute to ongoing development projects within the team and personally, both in house and within regional networks.
Active attendance at team meetings.
Full, in house clinical supervision and mentoring package.
Participation in and leading on ongoing departmental research and audit presentations.
Teaching both in house and locally/nationally.
Active participation in clinical governance meetings.
