Ensuringthe best manufacturing techniques are used is key to reputation and ensuring the continued success of the company.
**As aManufacturing Engineer your responsibilities will include**:
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM) / Design for Test (DFT) interface to the R&D team
- Lead the management of production assembly tools, jigs, fixtures, and processes
- Provide technical leadership to production and test teams
- Create test process documentation and product assembly work instructions
- Work closely with test engineering on test systems development and influence test jig designs
- Technical trainer for production test areas, control, and update of the test dept skills matrix
- Monitor and implement H&S
- Act as a key point of technical contact for external suppliers and partners
- Liaise with other departments and OEMs on material flow, production operative product awareness, product feedback and technical detail
**This is the perfect role for aManufacturing Engineer who has the following skills and experiences**:
- Proven Electro-Mechanical engineer experience assembling and testing consumer electronic products
- A good knowledge of electronics
- Knowledge of production databases and production-oriented software packages
- Well organised with a desire to improve production assembly and testing processes
- Be a strong communicator, able to present data and instructions in a clear manner
In return, you will receive a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + additional company benefits and ongoing career progression.
