The role
- You will play an important role in:

- Develop and implement public affairs strategies to influence policy and regulatory frameworks in line with Boralex strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups, at various levels (UK, Scotland, England and local)
- Monitor and analyze policy developments and provide strategic advice to senior management.
- Oversee all internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Develop and execute communication plans to enhance Boralex’s reputation and visibility in the UK market.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communication.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote Boralex’s projects and initiatives.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, website content, and online campaigns.
- Collaborate with the projects development team to develop marketing materials and support business development efforts
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a growing team of experienced public affairs, communication and marketing specialists.- To succeed in this position, you need:

- Minimum of 10 years working in public affairs and communication, preferably within the renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of the UK energy market and regulatory environment
- Confidence working to ambitious targets - you will know how to structure yourself and your team to work efficiently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - including the ability to communicate well, influence at a senior level, and make key decisions
- Ability to hire and retain a talented team - you will have prior experience coaching folks to help them be at their best
- Ideally, you’ll have experience of working with distributed teams in a remote and multicultural environment
- Ideally, you also have previous experience in marketing and generating successful marketing campaigns
- Interest in and enthusiasm for our mission
