**SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD and Mental Health Needs - Greenwich**

Are you looking to become an SEN Teaching Assistant and to gain experience working closely with Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and SENCos in an Educational setting?

Create Education are looking to speak with enthusiastic graduates for some exciting opportunities working with SEN students in an OFSTED Rated Good Alternative Provision in the London Borough of Greenwich.

The schools are truly outstanding provisions in Greenwich that cater for and work with KS1 and KS2 students between with mixed learning levels and has a fantastic track record for working with SEN students. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant would ideally be experienced with or willing to work with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other kinds of challenging behaviour. The role will be working 1:1 with students who need extra support throughout the day. The role will have a sensory and speech and language aspect, some students are preverbal. Experience with challenging behaviour and ASD is preferred in this role, as the students are known to be challenging.

The placement will be for the rest of the academic year, starting as soon as possible. It’s a fantastic opportunity to not only support students who need it the most, but to further your career working in the mental health and SEN field.

**Person Specification - SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD and Mental Health Needs - Greenwich**
- Recent Graduate in any disciplines are welcome - school is particularly interested in speaking with Psychology, Sociology and Criminology Graduates.
- Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic
- Hard working individual and dependable Behaviour Mentor
