**CAMHS Specialist clinicians Band 7**: Front Door Team and Early Intervention Psychosis Team (Bipolar & Psychosis Team)
1 Fixed term (37.5 hrs. per week) 23 months
Do you want to work in an innovative, supportive and challenging CAMHS environment gaining clinical skills and experience across different teams?
This is a fixed term community-based post located with 5 session each within the Early Intervention Psychosis (Psychosis/Bipolar) team and the innovative Front Door Service/Triage team (which provides the first point of contact to families and assessment and brief intervention work) of Tower Hamlets CAMHS.

The post holder will offer assessment and flexible, evidence-based and outcome focussed episodes of care and interventions to children/young people and families for a wide variety of clinical presentations.
Within the Triage team, the post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the multi-disciplinary team and will assist in innovative developments in managing wait times, self-referrals, groups and brief interventions. Within the Early intervention psychosis team, the post holder will assess and manage prodromal states (At Risk Mental States), florid psychotic presentations or bipolar affective disorder. Assertive outreach work will be required at times and a familiarity with CPA is necessary.
The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.
