**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and cooking processes.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or functions as required.
- Maintain an organised kitchen workspace, ensuring all utensils, equipment, and ingredients are readily available.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and dining areas as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines will be an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve skills within the kitchen environment.
