**About us**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for developing and leading the insight team within the Product Office. You will be responsible for driving our understanding of how our clients are using the Ocado Smart Platform and highlighting where we can help them improve their performance. You will also be responsible for our market intelligence function covering both competitors of our clients and competitors to our platform. You will support Solutions Management, Product management and Product marketing by providing the data to do their job.

This role involves producing the data insights and reporting from scratch, turning data into insight that both shapes our propositions and our partners use of the platform to ultimately improve the performance of our partners. You will be conducting market research (inc UX/UE) to benchmark the performance of OSP vs the direct competition and the competition of our partners.

**About you**

You will have the following: experience of insight and team leadership and have demonstrable creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills, combined with a strong sense of ownership and proactive can-do attitude. Demonstrable ability to grow and build a team and processes adapting to an ever changing product and environment. Excellent data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills. Experience using SQL, Excel, data visualization tools (eg Google Data Studio). Ability to express complex ideas in a clear, coherent and concise manner.
