This position sits within Ocado Solutions. **About the role**

The Commercial Proposition Analyst will support the Commercial Proposition Manager and Ocado Solutions leadership team on various business development projects, including owning new initiatives through the initiative pipeline, documenting our suite of fulfilment options as well as reviewing our monthly proposition publication. They will also build and run business models to support commercial decisions, developing strong relationships with the Finance team and sharing insights with senior leadership.

***Accountabilities**
- Liaise with Subject Matter experts across Ocado to understand new products and ensure they are ready for hand over to the commercial team
- Support the management of pricing structures and levels for individual products making up OSP including NPV modelling and sensitivity analysis for the pricing structure
- Support the definition and management of commercial terms for the products (including SLAs, performance metrics, Division of Responsibilities etc.)
- Collaborate with the Product Strategy Team to manage 'pitch materials' for the products, to be used by the Commercial Projects and Partnership Management teams in explaining the concepts to existing and future partners
- Combing the above into the commercial catalogue and keeping this catalogue up to date
- Contribute to the regular communication of the latest pricing models across commercial team including as part of the propositions publication
- Become an internal SME on key products
- Knowledge sharing with members of the team
- Support continuous improvement projects to create and improve team processes and materials
- Support the Commercial team and Partnership Management team to sell the products to their prospects and partners

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Degree qualified or demonstrable experience
- Experience in strategy consulting with preferred experience in Retail/consumer goods/e-commerce
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
- First class planning and organising skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand stakeholder needs, build productive relationships, contribute to internal and external projects
- Collaborative team player able to bring different skills and personalities together to present a cohesive solution
- Potential to quickly learn the key project management skills required in the Solutions commercial team
- Experience in E-commerce / Logistics / Technology projects or industry roles
- Experience in developing commercial propositions and structuring fees
