**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in managing their care plans, ensuring that all needs are met effectively.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations to promote emotional well-being.
- Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring safe transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding any changes in the client’s condition or needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
