We’re Warner Leisure Hotels, a member of the award-winning Bourne Leisure family. What began as a holiday village in 1932 is now a collection of 15 hotels showcasing British history, food, music and theatre in stunning locations across England and North Wales. Importantly too, we’re exclusively for adults.

We’re on the search for a Product Owner - Guest and Team Experience to join us at our Hemel support centre and share our passion to make one of the UK’s most-loved hospitality brands the best it can possibly be. Perhaps this’ll be your niche too? We’d love to find out.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for focused, motivated and forward-thinking individual who is obsessed with improving the digital Guest and team experience at our Hotels. We want someone who has the drive to continually improve our processes and technology for our Guest & team whist looking for opportunities work smarter. As part of the Warner Hotel Systems team, you will work closely with our hotel, operations, proposition and the Warner technology / digital teams.
What will I be doing?
Owning and managing the life-cycle of Guest facing Hotel products, that deliver a friction-less and enriching experience for our Guests whilst stay at Warner

Owning and managing the life-cycle of hotel products for the Warner Team, ensuring that they are fit for purpose, efficient, easy to use, enabling our Team to delight our Guest

Working closely with the Hotel teams to understand their people, processes, and products, documenting, and identifying challenges and suggested improvements

Working closely with the digital team to ensure that developed Guest and Team digital products are in aligned with current Guest and team requirements and future innovations

Documenting and understanding all the digital touch points throughout the guest and team journeys, understanding where challenges and opportunities exist and working these into actionable items that we can use to change or incrementally improve

Conducting user research, analytics, market research and experimentation to drive innovation and change to our hotel systems

Identifying and implementing opportunities where we can work smarter, using latest technologies, including, A.I, automation, etc

Building and presenting robust business cases for new or improved hotel systems

Researching and implementing best practice and products from businesses in the same or similar industries. Looking outside for potential game changers and disruptors

Ensuring that the wider Warner team and key stakeholders are aware of our team its milestones and accomplishments
What skills do I need?

Strong experience with owning products through their life-cycle and managing change
Strong experience with managing suppliers and vendors, maintaining a good relationship and defining clear road-maps

Excellent communication and stakeholder skills; explains difficult and complex information to support decision-making

Be able to identify opportunities through data and research and propose improvements

Be organised and meticulous in your problem solving, comfortable managing a varied workload and committed to continually driving improvement

Have a natural curiosity to question how we do things, understand them, and find ways to improve them

Knowledge of product management methodologies

Creating annual product road-maps; planning deliveries to create value

Solves complex implementation problems together with varied teams
