**Our new Fareham Distribution Centre is your opportunity to be a part of something special and help shape the future of Booker This is a full time position for our new Distribution Centre In Fareham.**

**It is a 117,000 sq ft modern DC servicing our group customers across retail to include Londis, Budgens and Premier**

**Your duties within the role will be**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Operations Clerk** to join our team based at our Booker Distribution Centre in Fareham. You will support the day to day administration of the Warehouse department, overseeing other Operational clerical team members.

This is a Full time vacancy covering rotating shifts 6am -2pm and 2pm -10pm

You will be responsible for
- Planning tasks and functions of the Warehouse Clerks
- Deliver weekly and periodical data gathering and reporting routines in line with Operating mode
- Admin Legal compliance
- Monitoring Pick by Locator
- Dealing with Back Picks
- Helping with Licence Plate queries
- Allocating Trailers to Bays
- Liaising with Operatives and Managers whilst working the windows
- Checking bag up and all relevant paperwork for loads
- Updating and inputting data on system

You will need
To be successful in the role you should have:
Data Entry / Administrative Experience

GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent level numeric and literacy skills)

PC Literate

Excellent communication skills

Ability to analyse verbal and numeric data

Able to work on own initiative and under pressure

Ability to work as part of a team

Good Time management and organisational skills

Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment

Attention to detail and accuracy
