Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper / Deputy Manager to join our team. As the Deputy Manager / Head of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our Belfast Apartment Block. You will also be engaging with guests before, during and aster their stay. If you have a background in Hotel, Guest House or Airbnb housekeeping / management and possess excellent communication and organisational skills, please get in touch.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to established standards and procedures.
- Co-ordinate guest stays before, during and after departure.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with apart-hotel standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to full fill guest requests and resolve any issues relating to our guests experience.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for housekeeping staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or maintenance needs within the whole building.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement proper procedures for handling hazardous materials etc.

**Skills**:

- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in a hotel setting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Flexibility to work some weekends, holiday periods when required.
