**Intelligence Officer - Inside IR35**

**Contract Term: 8 Months**

**Location: Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week onsite in Salford.**

**As a**n Intelligence Officer **your main responsibilities would be**:

- Conducting intelligence development of referrals by enriching received intelligence through the interrogation of available systems and Home Office databases.
- Producing intelligence packages to be taken forward operationally - producing intelligence reports for dissemination both within the Home Office & to external agencies.
- Conducting research on particular themes/areas to assist with the production/development of the Threat Assessment.
- Effective file management for investigations - following relevant information with an awareness of up-to-date data policies to manage archiving, storage or destruction of investigation files.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- **_ Active, valid SC Clearance is essential for this role. _**:

- Recent demonstrable experience working in an intelligence environment.
- Ability to conduct research, provide accurate minute taking, note taking & identifying action points from various meetings conducted within the unit.
- Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act & issues surrounding confidentiality of information.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and great attention to detail.
- IPP accreditation - desirable
