Looking for a finance role that's anything but ordinary? We're are recruiting for a high-growth business based on the Wirral area who are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner who wants to work for a business who passionate, driven and thrives on teamwork.

**The Role**:
As **Finance Business Partner** you'll be the financial expert driving sales and margin growth. You'll play a crucial role in shaping strategy with clear, actionable insights.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Own the **Commercial Finance,** working directly with the operational and sales directors
- Track and report **daily margin performance** vs budget at product group level, with weekly performance analysis.
- Deliver sharp, **insightful analysis** on product and promo performance to drive margin growth, and challenge when needed.
- ** Scenario plan** for price and margin changes, forecasting their impact on sales and margin.
- Partner with category managers to build budgets and forecasts for **sales, margin, and commercial income**.
- Stay ahead of margin forecasts by understanding how current trading impacts budgets.
- Support the trading team in **supplier negotiations**, analysing profitability and the impact of cost changes.
- Build **sales and cost models**:

- Review and challenge **commercial proposals**, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Act as the go-to between teams, flagging supplier funding risks and commercial income opportunities.

**What You'll Need**:

- Experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment
- Sharp **commercial awareness** and strong numeracy skills - you'll love to dig into the details and challenge the status quo.
- Proven ability to **influence senior stakeholders** and deliver financial results.
- ** Advanced Excel** skills.
- Qualified or qualified by experience
