Role Overview

To provide extended telephone support to our health assessment customers, using coaching techniques to motivate them to achieve their personal lifestyle goals

What you'll do:
- Through outbound calling and the use of online tools, provide individual lifestyle support on pre-agreed dimensions to help customers reach lifestyle goals identified during their health assessment or through products such as Smart DNA, Be.Me or other product/service in line with the business needs- Support the provision of Health Assessments by providing float HA cover on an adhoc basis- Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa’s current clinical policies-
- To maintain client records ensuring all systems are updated in an accurate and timely manner- To fully investigate all queries and complaints from customers. The Lifestyle Health Adviser is responsible for obtaining further information and will either respond to the customer or, if it has to be referred upwards, to provide the complaints handler with a full case history- To continually work with their peers and team leader to analyse existing working practises in order to identify ways of improving the service and enhancing the customer journey- Adhere to and demonstrate an up to date knowledge of Bupa’s products, policies and procedures- Be aware of clinical research and best practice through approved resources- Maintain personal professional portfolio evidencing learning, development and reflection, also attend a clinical appraisal on a yearly basis

What you'll need:- Additional qualifications or post graduate study in exercise, nutrition, psychology, weight management or diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention desirable- British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES) or American College of Sports Medicine qualifications and/or membership desirable- Experience of supporting individuals or groups to change their health behaviours- Knowledge of anatomy/physiology in relation to health and lifestyle.- Previous experience of working in a customer services environment and able to demonstrate strong customer focus skill
