**About the role**
- We are looking for a dynamic and methodical** Payroll & Pensions Assistant** to join our super dynamic (and growing) Payroll and Pensions HQ team who provide expert advice and guidance to our academies and other stakeholders.This is an exciting role within the TKAT Payroll Team. Your days will be varied; when you’re not carrying out the day to day administration for the team, you will be carrying out payroll variance checks, assisting with the Teachers Pensions End of Year Certificate and much more. As an outward facing member of the payroll and pensions team, you must possess fantastic communication skills, be proactive and resilient to the day to day challenges of education payroll.We’ll support your development and give you plenty of opportunities to enhance your skills along the way and you’ll benefit from our flexible home based working pattern from day 1.**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Experience in a busy payroll and pensions team
- A strong understanding of manual and computerised payroll systems and principles.
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
- A flexible approach to working. Worked in an office and or Hybrid environment
- Enthusiasm and commitment to working as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills who develops positive relationships
