Project Support Officer

**Overview**
The Project Support Officer will assist in the delivery of the new PEACEPLUS funded ‘FLOW’ (For the Love of our Waters) project for which ICBAN is the Lead Partner. This involves delivering on the admin functions, as well as supporting in promotion, monitoring, and reporting, to help ensure that set project outcomes and results are achieved.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead on the general administrative functions of the project, ensuring efficient and effective management of all administrative tasks.
- Organise and service project management group and Steering Group meetings, any relevant Subgroup meetings, record proceedings and prepare Minutes (or Notes of Proceedings).
- Maintain, organise and develop a computerised project filing system and ensure retention of project documentation as required.
- To lead on project financial administration, including administering the Financial Control system to help effectively manage the project.
- To collate financial information for budget planning/monitoring purposes and to liaise with Project Partners to obtain additional information as required.
- To manage ICBAN’s Lead Partner’s Procurement Plan in drafting Terms of Reference, managing procurements and seeking quotations, in accordance with programme guidelines.
- To prepare and submit quarterly Lead Partner claims.
- To liaise with the appointed External Financial Controller in managing follow-up queries, audit visits and dealing with any such requests for information from Programme Auditors.
- Coordinate project communications, including liaising with Project Partners and Delivery Agents on same.
- To manage the dedicated project website and organise regular updates on social media channels.
- To coordinate Project Partners in developing the overall Project Communications Plan, and Crisis Communications Plan.
- Assist the Project Manager in managing the monitoring and evaluation processes.
- To gather, compile and analyse data, information and documentation to assist with reports to funders, project structures and other key stakeholders.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be assigned without altering the general character of the post.
**Essential Criteria**
- A third level qualification in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project administration and support
- Experience in project financial admin and in progress reporting.
- Experience in updating web / social media content / communications collateral.

- The ‘FLOW’ project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). This is a fixed term positions until 30 June 2029. ICBAN aims to secure further funded projects beyond this date and every effort will be made to provide continuity of employment beyond project completion dates, however this cannot be guaranteed._

Pay: £34,434.00-£36,300.00 per year
